L’Abarset season 2025-2026

The season that confirms L’Abarset as a global benchmark for après-ski in mountain settings

After surpassing 100,000 visitors in the 2024-2025 season, L’Abarset has once again proven that its model has no ceiling. The 2025-2026 season, inaugurated on 29 November 2025, has consolidated the venue in the El Tarter sector of Grandvalira as a pioneering space for merging world-class electronic music with the mountain and snow experience.

During the Christmas period alone, more than 25,000 visitors passed through L’Abarset, a figure that reaffirmed its position as the most relevant après-ski venue in southern Europe. The full season, with more than 40 scheduled events between November and April, has traced an unprecedented artistic arc in the history of the venue.

All of this has taken place against a backdrop of record investment: Grandvalira Resorts has allocated 39 million euros to infrastructure improvements for this season, 86% more than the previous year, confirming the destination’s strategic commitment to positioning itself as a premium European benchmark.

An international line-up

The artistic programme for the 2025-2026 season has taken L’Abarset to a level that no other après-ski venue in the world can match. Names that headline major international festivals have performed at the foot of the slopes, in a high-mountain setting, creating an experience that exists nowhere else on the planet.

The major headliners

Adam Beyer, founder of Drumcode Records and a central figure in global techno, delivered one of the season’s most memorable nights on 28 February, during the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup Andorra 2026 weekend. The combination of an elite international sporting event with an artist of Beyer’s calibre captures the essence of what L’Abarset represents: sport, music and a premium experience in one setting.

Nina Kraviz, one of the most influential DJs and producers on the international techno scene, launched the collaboration with Brunch Electronik on 5 December alongside Quest and Edu_Art. Her presence marked the start of a season whose ambition was clear from the outset.

Gordo, the project that has revolutionised the global electronic music scene, arrived at L’Abarset on 14 February, Valentine’s Day, for a set that will be remembered as one of the season’s most special.

2ManyDJs, the legendary project of Belgian brothers David and Stephen Dewaele, kicked off 2026 on 2 January with a set that blended genres from rock to techno, accompanied by Ryan Elliot and Taty Alzate.

Paco Osuna, a leading figure in Spanish techno with residencies at some of the world’s best clubs, returned with his NOW HERE brand on 16 and 17 January. On Friday 16 January, Joella Jackson and Iglesias opened the event alongside Patricia Mantovani, and on Saturday 17 January, Paco Osuna closed it with Chris Di Perri and Gruuvelement.

Event formats that define L’Abarset’s identity

Brunch Electronik: The renowned Barcelona-based daytime events brand has consolidated its winter home at L’Abarset, bringing Nina Kraviz among its season headliners.

Bresh: The Argentinian phenomenon that calls itself “the most beautiful party in the world” held 4 editions this season (December, January, February and March), maintaining its position as one of the most popular events among young and international audiences.

NOW HERE by Paco Osuna: The Spanish DJ’s concept returned to L’Abarset with Chris Di Perri and Gruuvelement as guest artists.

Ski World Cup Festival: A historic event. L’Abarset was the official après-ski venue during the FIS Women’s Alpine Ski World Cup Andorra 2026, from 27 February to 1 March. Three days of elite sporting competition combined with Luc Loren, Adam Beyer and Soundboree.

The TriVute: A charity event held on 29 December that raised more than 3,000 euros for a social and employment inclusion enterprise, demonstrating the social commitment of the venue and its team.

L’Abarset also offered a continuous resident programme throughout the week (Patricia Mantovani, Laeet, Edu_Art, Simply J, Maadraassoo, Viktor Olle), Urban Brand sessions on Wednesdays, and F&F events on Sundays, ensuring a consistent musical offering beyond the major weekend events.

13 years of La Borda Creativa: pioneers in combining music and mountains

This season marks 13 consecutive years of La Borda Creativa leading L’Abarset’s artistic direction and music strategy. Since 2013, the Andorran agency has been the architect of a transformation that has turned an après-ski space into a pioneering venue worldwide, combining top-tier electronic music with the mountain and snow environment.

There is no comparable example in the industry. While destinations such as Ibiza and Berlin are known for their urban club scenes, and festivals such as Tomorrowland and Coachella operate in temporary outdoor settings, L’Abarset has created a category of its own: a permanent venue, integrated into an elite ski resort, with an artistic programme that competes with any club on the international circuit, yet offers something none of them can replicate: the experience of electronic music at the foot of the slopes, surrounded by the Pyrenees, after a day of skiing.

La Borda Creativa’s work extends far beyond booking artists. It includes designing a coherent music strategy season after season, negotiating with leading international booking agencies, coordinating logistics for artists who perform at the world’s major festivals, creating strategic partnerships with global event brands such as Brunch Electronik and Bresh, and curating a programme that balances international headliners with high-quality resident talent.

The transformation of El Tarter: from ski sector to international premium destination

L’Abarset’s success is part of a wider transformation that has turned El Tarter, and by extension the Soldeu-El Tarter area within Grandvalira, into a premium ski holiday destination attracting visitors from across Europe.

Grandvalira 2025-2026: figures that set the trend

  • A Christmas record: More than 336,000 ski days sold during the Christmas holidays
  • 34,500 skiers in a single day: An all-time attendance record set on 29 December 2025
  • 39 million euros invested in infrastructure, 86% more than in the previous season
  • FIS Alpine Ski World Cup 2026: Women’s speed events from 27 February to 1 March in Soldeu-El Tarter

Andorra: the world leader in tourism per capita

Andorra ranks as the country with the most tourists per inhabitant in the world, with an average of 52 visitors per resident each year, according to UN Tourism data. In 2024, the country received a total of 9.6 million visitors (an all-time record), of whom 4.1 million were overnight tourists. Annual tourism sector revenue exceeds 2.5 billion dollars.

In this context, L’Abarset acts as a key differentiator: it is the element that turns a ski trip into a complete experience combining sport, gastronomy, music and mountain lifestyle. Visitors no longer choose Grandvalira solely for its 210 km of slopes; they also choose it because they know that, when they come down from the mountain, an Adam Beyer or Nina Kraviz set awaits at the foot of the slopes.

Music as a driver of tourism promotion: a global phenomenon with L’Abarset as a pioneering mountain case

The impact of music on the tourism industry is one of the fastest-growing phenomena worldwide. The latest figures confirm it.

The global music tourism market

The global music tourism market was valued at 94.8 billion dollars in 2024 and is projected to reach 475 billion in 2034, with annual growth of 17.5%. The sector directly employs 1.2 million people globally, with another 2.8 million indirect jobs in supporting industries.

Leading examples around the world

Ibiza, Spain: Tourism accounts for 84% of the island’s GDP. Club ticket revenue reached 150 million euros annually in 2024, with 3.28 million tourists and average daily spending of 192 euros per visitor. The clubbing industry permanently employs more than 10,000 people in Ibiza and Formentera.

Coachella Valley, United States: The Coachella festival attracts 250,000 attendees annually and generates an economic impact of 704 million dollars for the region: 553 million in accommodation, 135 million in food and drink, 92 million in retail, 83 million in leisure and 68 million in transport. It generates more than 10,000 direct jobs per edition.

Tomorrowland, Belgium: The world’s largest electronic music festival attracts 400,000 visitors from more than 200 countries and generates an estimated economic impact of 100 million euros for the Boom region, turning a small town into a globally recognised tourist destination.

United Kingdom (2024): The “gig-tripping” phenomenon generated 325 million pounds in visitor spending during the summer alone. The Oasis reunion tour produced an impact of 79.9 million pounds for its host cities.

More than 75% of travellers to music events worldwide belong to the Millennial and Gen Z generations, the most relevant demographic for tourist destinations seeking to rejuvenate their brand.

L’Abarset: a pioneering case in a mountain setting

What sets L’Abarset apart from all these examples is its pioneering approach in a setting that nobody had previously explored with this ambition: the mountains. While music tourism destinations have historically been concentrated on islands (Ibiza), in cities (Berlin, London) or in open fields (Boom, Coachella Valley), L’Abarset has shown that a Pyrenean ski resort can generate the same kind of momentum, attract international talent and transform a destination.

L’Abarset’s model is a case study for the industry: how the professional management of an ambitious music programme, sustained for more than a decade, can transform the perception and positioning of a mountain tourism destination. El Tarter is no longer just a ski sector in Andorra; it is a destination where music, gastronomy, elite sport and the nature of the Pyrenees converge to create an experience that attracts visitors from all over Europe, as well as Andorra’s own residents, who find a first-class cultural and leisure space at L’Abarset without having to leave the country.

Conclusion: 13 years building something unique

With artists of the calibre of Adam Beyer, Nina Kraviz, Gordo, 2ManyDJs and Paco Osuna taking to its DJ booth, and 13 years of a consistent music strategy led by La Borda Creativa, L’Abarset is more than the best après-ski venue in the Pyrenees. It is a pioneering example of how electronic music can transform a mountain destination, creating a category that did not exist before and that others are now watching closely.

Behind every name on the line-up, every sold-out Brunch Electronik, every Bresh night that fills the dance floor, and every weekend when thousands of people choose El Tarter as their destination, is the work of a team that has spent 13 years believing that the mountains and music belong on the same stage.
